I find inspiration and ideas from anything and everywhere - I love finding the discarded, forgotten and abused things to give them a new visual life. Art is my reflection on life and thus makes it inherantly auto-biographic. Formal qualities of the work reference needlearts, quilting and weaving in honor of past and current female craftsmen mixed with OCD attention to detail and meticulous repetition.
